Frequently Asked Questions

What are the time expectations of the contracts?
It is expected the project officers would work 10-15hrs each week throughout the incubator. The incubator will run between 1 July 2020 and 1 December 2020.

What is the budget for the contracts?
The upper budget for the Project Officer roles is $12,000 (for each role), the upper budget for the Design project is $8,000.

Can the Project Officer work from home?
Covid-19 restrictions aside, it is expected the Project Officer would meet directly with participants, local business and other relevant stakeholders. It is important the project officer works to engage both the participants, industry and community to support the incubator project and the participants.

What equipment and materials need to be provided by the project officer and branding consultant?
It is expected that the Project Officer and Branding Consultant would use their own equipment (e.g. computer, modem, vehicle) to deliver the contract. Any operating or incidental costs (e.g. fuel, internet, stationery) would be provided by the contractor within the quotation provided.

Will RDA pay for workshops and other costs?
While the contractor will have no delegated purchasing authority, they may approach RDA to consider the implementation of live events, advertising and other materials related to the incubator. RDAMNC will not reimburse any expenses retrospectively that have not received prior agreement in writing.
