Norfolk Island Paddock to Plate Incubator Launch

Following the success of 2019’s Tourism Incubator Program, Regional Development Australia Norfolk Island is running a Norfolk Island Paddock to Plate Agribusiness Incubator in 2020.

The program is launching with a ‘Discovery Session’ on Thursday 19 March 2020 at Castaway Hotel. Community members who are interested in joining the program will be able to come along to ask questions, apply to join the program and participate in brainstorming to assist in tailoring the program to suit the needs of the community. During the session, we will also discuss the possibility of developing and promoting an on-island food brand.

The program will run from April – November 2020 and there is no cost for participants. Anyone who is producing, or has an idea for, a product using Norfolk Island produce is invited to apply. This could be in the form of a food or beverage product, beauty product, textiles, or anything made from local materials. Local produce used to create the product may be farmed, fished or foraged.
