Norfolk Island Paddock to Plate (and beyond) Agribusiness Incubator

Are you a local grower?

Or do you use local food to create something else in the food, health or beauty industries?

The Norfolk Island Agribusiness Incubator (Paddock to Plate and Beyond) will commence on Island on Tuesday 10th March 2020.

Like the successful 2019 Incubator the program is presented in a ‘just in time’ learning format giving participants access to the skills they need as they are needed.

Unlike the 2019 Incubator the program will be structured in a series of formal learning days, farm days and test kitchen days.

The overall goal of the 2020 program will be to enhance existing on Island business and establish new business in agriculture and agrifoods by enhancing sustainable farming practice on Island, growing market opportunities for local farmers, growers and food value-adders and identifying and enhancing local food branding establishing the Norfolk island Food Brand as a premium and sought after product.

There are several ways to get involved in the Incubator:

  • Apply as an incubator participant – there is no cost to do this and applications will open soon
  • Attend workshops throughout 2020
  • Contribute to public brainstorming sessions on the food brand
