Regional Development Australia (RDA) is a national network of 53 committees made up of local leaders who work with all levels of government, industry and community groups to support the development of their regions. RDA Mid North Coast is one of these committees.
Regional Development Australia is administered by the Department of Infrastructure, Regional Development and cities (the Department). RDA Mid North Coast works in close partnership with the Department, particularly with regard to our Mid North Coast Regional Plan and the National Stronger Regions Fund.
In 2016 the Regional Development Australia program commenced a review process. One of the elements that came out of the review was a revised charter. The RDA Charter can be viewed online here.
Further information about the review is online here.
Building Better Regions Fund
The Building Better Regions Fund is administered by the Department and supports the infrastructure needs of regional Australia. The decision of funding is made by the Department and is independent of RDA Committees, however RDAMNC can assist Councils and other local entities to develop funding applications.
